Single Origin Coffees
Coffee is a byproduct of the origin in which it grows. That is, each origin has it’s own unique characteristics. The more coffees you taste, the more you will begin to recognize these regional characteristics. Below are some general guidelines.
Central & South America
Generally medium bodied with a bright acidity. Nutty, floral, and hints of spice in the flavor and aroma.
Africa
Generally medium to full bodied with a bright acidity. Fruity and winey in flavor and aroma
Asia & Pacific
Generally full in body and lower in acidity. These coffees tend to have an herbal and spice-like taste and aroma.
