While our Decaf - Sumatra Lake Tawar was very herbal in taste, this offering has more spices and earthy characteristics to it. This means that the spicy characteristics and heavy body that are typical of Sumatran coffees carry through delightfully well. This is bound to become a favorite for many decaf drinkers.

Background Info

One of our importing partners purchased this coffee from a decaffeination center in Europe. The purchase was solely based on the coffee’s excellent cupping quality, but unfortunately, little is known about this coffee. The suspected reason for this is that the coffee is most likely a blend of several lots of Sumatran coffees with no easily traceable heritage.
