This is a lush coffee with a tropical effervescence. In the bouquet, vanilla-like floral notes dance with hints of lemon and lime. These notes become richer and juicier in the cup, deepening into mango, pineapple, and cream, which then evolves into milk chocolate and green tea in the finish.

Background Info
On the shore of Lake Awassa in the Great Rift Valley is the Ethiopian city of Awassa, the last major city one passes through before entering the “coffee forests.” Using the city’s name in the coffee’s title is a tribute to the area where so many people depend on coffee for their well-being.
Reminiscent of last year’s Ethiopian special coffees (Biloya and Aricha), Awassa is a clean, fruity coffee.
