Background Info
Los Naranjos is from a group of 97 small growers called the 'Asociacion Los Naranjos San Agustin' . They produce 2000 bags per year. The farms are located between 5200 and 6000ft elevation and average 4 acres in size. The farmers grow mostly the Caturra varietal (90%) as well as some Colombia varietal (10%)
This coffee is one of the most unique tasting Colombias we have come across. The coffee tastes more like an East African coffee than one from Colombia. A bright and winey acidity with notes of Molasses and grapefruit in the finish.
