Background Info

This coffee is producted by the Cenfrocafe co-op. Cenfrocafe is one of the strongest, most capable Co-ops in Peru. They have excellent farmers and cuppers and their ability to select and build excellent lots of coffee is unsurpassed.

Jaen, San Ignacio and surrounding areas are frontier areas in the last 40 years. The farmers grow food, and rice is prevalent in the area. The newness of the territory has allowed them to innovate without challenging old models and thus has allowed us to incentivize farmers for higher quality.
