Coffee blends are often designed for mass appeal. They’re the coffee equivalent of a “house wine”. They’re safe and reliable but never astounding.

While we don’t prescribe to such an approach, there are certain instances where combining more than one coffee creates a better balanced or more flavorful cup than either of the individual components could do on their own.

We break tradition in that we don’t try to make a generic coffee. Rather, we use our blending expertise to create coffees that represent a particular origin style (Sumatra style, Ethiopia Style), or a traditional style of coffee (Romance by Paradise, Mocha Java Style). Blends they may technically be, but they are very much distinctive and by no means house blends.

Referencing the wine paradigm again, you might think of these as a coffee “meritage”.

Component transparency is important to us, so we will show you exactly what went into making every “by Paradise” coffee. The specific coffees used and the percentage used will be listed on the relevant product pages.
